Exploring parenting guilt in working moms

I've observed a phenomenon among some colleagues which I felt deserved exploration. Some of the best working moms that I know of, who also happen to be thorough professionals in my view, seem to share a common, slightly concerning trait - guilt. Parenting guilt.

These individuals are some of the most remarkable people I've come across, who in today's day & age are able to balance family and work life as best as possibly can be. The kids they've raised are well mannered, polite, intelligent, curious and comfortable in their skin - a feat which many parents envy.

Yet, these moms, despite doing some of the finest parenting work, along with managing high pressure work commitments well, can't seem to shake off a sense of not doing enough justice to different areas of their life, particularly towards their kid.
